Let’s take a look at the ingredients, and how it compares to traditional Coke…

Overall, we think you’d agree that there is not a significant difference in calories or sugar. 68 calories, and 17 grams of sugar is still an outstanding amount for 250ml of a beverage. This is still over 4 teaspoons of sugar in each can!

Now for a look at the ingredients…

Coca-Cola Life Ingredients: Carbonated water, sugar, colour (caramel E150d), natural flavourings including caffeine, phosphoric acid, sweetener (steviol glycosides).

Here’s where Coca-Cola has gone wrong!

Sugar? Caramel Coloring? “Natural” Flavors? These are NOT ingredients that should be in a beverage advertised as healthy. Yes, it contains stevia, however it is the last listed ingredient. Meaning that there is a significant amount less stevia than sugar (which is listed as the second ingredient).
