This week on Cooking with the Caltons we’re showing you how to make infused oils using SKINNYFat oils! These oils look gorgeous in a simple glass jar, and can even make a great gift. Did you miss last week’s simple salad dressings video? Check the video out HERE.

SKINNYFat Hot Pepper Infused Oil Recipe

  • SKINNYFat Olive Oil
  • Halved Peppers (with seeds)
  • Note: Omit seeds or choose peppers lower on the heat index if you want to lower the heat of the oil.

Place peppers in an oven safe bowl, and cover with SKINNYFat Olive.
Bake at 300 degrees for for 40 minutes.
Let cool, and pour into your glass bottle.

SKINNYFat Italian Infused Oil Recipe

Place ingredients in an oven safe bowl or pan and cover with SKINNYFat Olive.
Bake at 300 degrees for 40 minutes.
Let cool, and pour into your glass bottle.

We prefer to use the hot infusion method because with this method, the flavors are infused immediately. With the cold infusion method, it can sometimes take up to a week to reach the level of flavor as it does in one day by using our hot infusion method.
