Maybe it is because we have been so busy writing our new book or perhaps it is all the travel that has kept us away from our families more than we would like. We don’t know for sure, but for some reason, this year we really feel we need to slow down and take a few minutes to focus on giving thanks for all the wonderful gifts life has given us.

Thanksgiving isn’t just about mom’s turkey, dad’s stuffing or grandma’s pumpkin pie.  While those traditional elements are all enjoyable, Thanksgiving is about, or at least should be about, giving thanks, and there are a lot of ways to give thanks. Perhaps you keep a gratitude journal to help you remember all of life’s incredible gifts.  Or maybe just enjoying a peaceful moment watching the sun set reminds you of just how lucky you are and how appreciative you are of all you have been blessed with.  Regardless of how you do it, lets spend a little extra time this holiday season giving thanks.

And is it just us or has Christmas and Hanukkah come early this year? We haven’t even had Thanksgiving yet! Don’t succumb to the mega-stores and malls that seem to be pressuring us to start our holiday shopping on or before Thanksgiving Day.  Don’t spend the time you could be with family waiting in lines competing for the best pre-holiday prices.  Postpone the rush for materialistic goods, for just a little longer and remember that the most precious gifts you can give are the memories you make with the individuals you care about most.

Personally, we have a lot to be thankful for this year. We have been blessed with fabulous mothers, aunts and uncles, brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends who all love and support us.  We love them all dearly and are incredibly grateful to have each and every one of them in our lives. This year we made it a point to take family vacations and they have been wonderful bonding experiences for everyone.  If you have the ability a take multi-generational family vacation this year we highly recommend it. It will help the family stay connected and will give you the opportunity to learn from your family elders and give your love and guidance to the younger generation.

We also are incredibly grateful for you, our Calton Nutrition Family for allowing us to follow our calling to teach you and others how to achieve optimal health. Thank you for taking the time to learn about and support our ongoing study of the health enhancing power of micronutrients – even though they might not be the trendiest or sexiest topic out there, your faith and support allows us to continue our research into micronutrient therapies and lifestyle habits to prevent and reverse disease and increase longevity.

As a way to give back to you and show our gratitude we are putting together some amazing giveaways and the best holiday packages we have ever offered.
